Naraya Cafe

Naraya Café is such a charming stop right next to Miyanoshita Station. The atmosphere feels both historic and cozy, with beautiful mountain views from the seating area. We tried their wafer cake filled with bean jam, and it was so delicious. The cappuccino was excellent. There’s also a foot bath right outside the café that some people were enjoying, though we didn’t try it. The attached shop and gallery are worth checking out. They sell a variety of handmade items by local artists, including wooden crafts, glass products, and other unique pieces.

You can’t ask for more in a remote place half way between Hakone Yumoto and Gora. Amazing views, good food, best in class Japanese service and a super dedicated owner who is keeping the legacy of Naraya brand. It’s not very common for caffe’s in Japan to have kids play area, this place have multiple kids play areas and also a small library for reading books. Foot bath/onsen is also a nice attraction…and of course the coffee is one of the best in the area. It is right outside the train station and accessible with baby car…although you cannot move baby car inside.

An interesting place with a wonderful view. The cappuccino is delicious and well prepared. The coffee and chocolate cake is delicious and you can add a sort of ice cream which is delicious as well! I recommend!

A very nice café near the train station, but very quiet. The coffee is delicious. The staff is very friendly.

Incredibly great café. In addition to good coffee and cake, it also offers the option of enjoying a foot bath while eating. It also has a great view and there are special areas with toys for children. There's also a sauna area, but I didn't visit it. You should inform in advance if you want to use it. Bathing suits are apparently required.

A cute café where you can enjoy your meal and have a foot bath at the same time. They also provide a few parking spots. There is a shop selling local crafts next to the foot bath. Their pizza is unexpectedly good. We ordered a margherita pizza with extra mushrooms.

Not a lot of very interesting or filling snack options, but the atmosphere of the cafe, the connected art gallery, and the wonderful hot foot baths are all great! We enjoyed a beer and an ice cream, but the best part was soaking our tired feet in the complimentary hot baths. What a lovely surprise!
